Robert S. Garrison, Director of the Laborers Eastern Region Political Education Fund and Administrator of the New Jersey State Laborer's Political Action Committee, is Of Counsel with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader. Rob continues his work with the Laborer's Union while serving as Of Counsel to the firm. Rob's work at Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader includes Construction & Public Contracting, Government & Regulatory Affairs, as well as Labor & Employment Law.

Rob previously led the Governmental & External Affairs Department of the New Jersey Laborers - Employers' Cooperation & Education Trust, representing the interests of the Union and signatory contractors with regard to federal, state and local legislation and regulations, acting as a liaison between government and union agencies. Rob also served as a Special Board Agent of the National Labor Relations Board.

Rob has extensive government, legal, campaign and political experience. He currently serves on the Union County Planning Board and has served as a commissioner to the Harrison Housing Authority, the Harrison Redevelopment Agency and the Harrison Zoning Board of Adjustments. He previously served as Chairman of the Hudson County Board of Elections and as a member of the Hudson County Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee. Rob also served as Labor Advisor to Cory Booker for Mayor, Labor Advisor to Corzine for Governor, Political and Labor Director of Florio for U.S. Senate, Director of Advance for Torricelli for U.S. Senate, and Bergen County Field Director for Lautenberg for U.S. Senate / Hynes for County Executive. Rob also served as a member of the Academy Review Board for U.S. Senator Jon Corzine, and as Deputy Executive Director and Political Director of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee.

Rob's community involvement includes the position of Trustee of the New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) and he sits on the Board of Directors of the Rutgers Alumni Association. He is a member of the Leadership New Jersey Graduate Organization.

Rob received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University as well as an Associates Certificate from the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. He received a Masters in Governmental Administration at the Fels Center of Government at the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law in Newark.

Rob is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
