Joseph R. Bock Back
Mr. Bock is Of Counsel with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader and the most
senior member of the firm's Labor and Employment Group. Joe is a former senior
vice president at American Home Products Corporation, now known as Wyeth, where
he was responsible for world-wide labor relations, compensation, personnel,
affirmative action and security. While employed at that company, many
complimentary articles and letters were written by senior union officers
regarding the firm's labor relations policies. Joe was the only management
representative to be awarded a Bronze Medal from the Industrial Union
Department, AFL-CIO, for his "invaluable help in settling the NYNEX strike" in
1989. Joe previously served as corporate personnel manager for Hess Oil
& Chemical Company, as labor relations assistant for the New Jersey Zinc
Company and as labor relations consultant for C. W. Farmer Consultants. He is a
member of the Caldwell College Board of Trustees, Caldwell, N.J., as well as a
former member of the Board of Trustees of Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, N.J.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of America's Agenda: Health Care
for All in Washington, D.C. A graduate of the United States Naval
School of Naval Justice in Newport, R.I., Joe served in the United States
Marine Corps and was discharged with the rank of captain.
Joe received
his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University, his Juris Doctorate from
Fordham Law School, and his L.L.M. in labor law from Temple University School
of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar
Association and the Northampton County, Pa., Bar Association. He is admitted to
practice law in Pennsylvania and before the United States Supreme Court. He
also has been appointed to the labor panel of the American Arbitration
Association.
