Lester E. Taylor, III Back Mr. Taylor is a partner with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader and chairs the firm's Education Practice Group focusing on representing Boards of Education in General, Special Education, Litigation, Labor, Contractual and Workers' Compensation related matters. In addition, Lester is a member of the Litigation Defense, Municipal, Construction and Public Contracting and Labor and Employment practice groups. Lester received his undergraduate degree in political science from Montclair State University and his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law. While in Law School he served as a legislative associate for Dominion, a Virginia based fully integrated electric and natural gas utility company in its Washington, D.C. government affairs office. Following graduation from law school, Lester served as a law clerk to the Honorable Zinora M. Mitchell-Rankin, Associate Judge, Superior Court of the District of Columbia where he gained valuable experience in the areas of criminal and family law. He then worked as an associate for five years at the law firm of Hunt, Hamlin & Ridley, Newark, N.J. in the areas of general civil and criminal litigation, with a focus on representing local boards of education and other public entities. Lester has significant experience representing State, County, and Municipal public entities and specializes in School Law through his representation of Boards of Education. He has a significant level of expertise in all facets of School Law and has represented a number of urban and suburban school districts throughout the State of New Jersey inclusive of Asbury Park, East Orange, Hackensack, Irvington and Pleasantville. He is presently Solicitor to the Camden City School District where he handles and coordinates all aspects of general counsel, special education and workers' compensation legal representation. In addition, he handles all aspects of legal services for the Phillipsburg School District, the Warren County Special Services School District and is labor counsel to the Neptune Township School District. Lester is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Maryland and the U.S. District Court in New Jersey.
