Kevin
Uniglicht Back Kevin Uniglicht is a member of the Environmental Practice Group
at Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader. He joined the firm's Rochelle Park,
NJ office as an Associate in 2008 after serving as Deputy Attorney General for
the State of New Jersey.
While in his previous position, Mr. Uniglicht
was Counsel to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP)
with respect to matters of compliance and permitting, in which capacity he
handled complex land use permitting issues including interpreting and applying
applicable regulations and advising the NJDEP regarding the same.
Mr.
Uniglicht also represented the NJDEP in cases of site cleanups, cost recovery,
natural resource damage liability and bankruptcy, and he provided legal counsel
and representation to the Department's Site Remediation Program, which
encompassed site cleanup, monetary recovery and value recovery from lost site
use due to contamination prior to cleanup.
Before joining the New
Jersey Attorney General's Office, Mr. Uniglicht honed his legal expertise in
areas including criminal, real estate and national security law while serving
as Judicial Law Clerk and Trained Civil Mediator for the Honorable Ira E.
Kreizman of the Monmouth County, New Jersey Superior Court; as Summer Law Clerk
specializing in General Practice, Labor Law and International Law for the New
York City firm of Stevens, Hinds & White, and as a Paralegal handling Real
Estate and Land Use matters for the New Jersey firm of Sills Cummis &
Gross, P.C.
He is a graduate of Rutgers University and earned his Juris
Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law. While at Syracuse, Mr.
Uniglicht was President of the Syracuse Jewish Law Students Association,
Founder and President of the National Security Association, Member of the
Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism and Associate Editor of
the Syracuse Digest.
An active member of his community, Mr. Uniglicht
is an executive board member of the Knights of Pythias-Freehold Lodge,
co-founder of the Middlesex/ Monmouth Knights of Success professional
networking group and volunteer instructor for Israeli-style self-defense. He is
a member of the Environmental Inn of Court, the New Jersey Bar Association and
the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists.
Mr.
Uniglicht is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New Jersey
and of Washington, D.C. and the Federal District Third Circuit Court of
Appeals.
Mr. Uniglicht resides in Monmouth County with his wife and
young daughter.
