Bergen County, NJ, office seeks a full-time experienced Legal Secretary.
Candidate must have a minimum of three years' experience. Bachelor's degree a

Legal Secretary is a full-time
(35-hour standard work week) position at Florio Perrucci Steinhardt &
Fader, L.L.C. The position requires the successful execution of the following
skills and responsibilities:
Job Description
1. Supporting assigned attorneys
to include:

Composing,
preparing, revising and finalizing written documents and correspondence as
directed by the attorney |

Preparing client
intake forms, retainer agreements and electronic filings |
| c. |
Maintaining
attorney files in a consistent and logical manner |
| d. |
Transcribing
dictation |
| e. |
Answering
phones |
| f. |
Scheduling meetings
and conference calls |
| g. |
Opening and
forwarding all forms of mail - paper, electronic and voice |
| h. |
Entering time and
disbursements |
| i. |
Faxing and scanning
documents |
| j. |
Managing
calendars |
2. Working when requested to help other
secretaries and attorneys complete large and/or urgent projects. At times, this
may necessitate occasionally working before or after hours on an overtime basis
to get the job done.
3. Pitching in to help answer firm-wide phones and
complete routine office-wide tasks as the need arises.
4. Being
pleasant to all callers, visitors and clients even when presented with
"difficult personalities."
5. Having a good attendance record. Being
courteous and letting others know well in advance when you need flexibility in
your assigned work schedule to accommodate special personal needs. Please call
your assigned attorneys - and not rely on email - when you need to be
unexpectedly out of the office.
6. Possessing a "team player" attitude
towards your employment. If you see a co-worker struggling, pitch in help out.
If you have a specific skill, share it with others. Suggestions are always
welcome.
7. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
