Fader Returns to Private Sector as Partner in Florio Perrucci Steinhardt &
Fader
Phillipsburg,
N.J., January 16, 2006 - Paul T. Fader, chief counsel to outgoing New Jersey
Governor Richard Codey, will become a named partner in the law firm of Florio
Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C.
Mr. Fader will head the firm's
new office in Rochelle Park, N.J., as well as the practice group dedicated to
public contract law.
"Paul brings years of public and private legal
leadership to the firm, which is expanding its participation in governmental
matters in New Jersey," said Michael J. Perrucci, who founded the firm along
with New Jersey Governor Jim Florio. "The high level of respect Paul has earned
in Trenton and throughout the state will serve our clients well and help
establish partnerships with key public organizations."
Prior to joining
the firm, Mr. Fader was engaged in executive-level governmental work in the
state capital as chief counsel to Governor Codey and director of the
authorities unit and deputy chief counsel to Governor Jim McGreevey. In those
capacities, he was involved in all aspects of state governance including
transportation and tunnel authorities, sports and exposition expansion, casino
reinvestment and economic development. Mr. Fader previously served as a law
clerk to the Honorable Sylvai B. Pressler, presiding judge of Superior Court of
New Jersey - Appellate Division.
Mr. Fader holds an undergraduate
degree, received cum laude, from William Paterson College and a juris doctorate
from Rutgers University School of Law. His legal experience includes serving as
a partner in Connell Foley L.L.P., Roseland, N.J., where he specialized in
construction and public contract law, civil litigation, commercial development
and land use.
