Woodbury, New Jersey, March 18, 2008 Louis Cappelli Jr.,
Director of the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, recently joined the
law firm of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C. as the managing
attorney in its Woodbury, N.J. office. Former New Jersey Governor Jim Florio is
a founding partner of the five-office, multi-state law firm.
Were excited about having Lou as a member of our
team, said Florio. His legal expertise and governmental experience
will help our Woodbury office greatly expand its presence within South Jersey
and southeastern Pennsylvania.
Cappelli joins two other attorneys
in the law firms southern New Jersey office to increase its client base
with his extensive experience in governmental and regulatory affairs, real
estate, family, personal injury and workers compensation law. Previously,
he worked as a sole practitioner for 15 years in Collingswood, N.J., serving
local governments as a prosecutor and planning board attorney. Prior to
becoming Freeholder Director, Cappelli served as a member of the Board of
Commissioners in the Borough of Collingswood and as a member of the
Collingswood Board of Education. Cappelli was elected to the Camden County
Board of Chosen Freeholders in 2003, and was elected unanimously by the
Freeholder Board as its Director in 2006.
I look forward to
working for this growing and dynamic law firm, said Cappelli.
In
addition to practicing law in the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Cappelli is
admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court of New
Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme
Court. He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association. Cappelli received a
J.D. degree from the Rutgers University School of Law Camden and a B.S.
degree in accounting from Albright College.
We feel very
fortunate to have someone with Lous quality and outstanding reputation
manage our South Jersey office and help guide the firms growth throughout
the region, said Michael J. Perrucci, founder and managing partner. Added
Paul T. Fader, managing partner, Lou brings vast and varied legal
experience that can only help to grow our law firms business in South
Jersey.
