Municipal Attorney Tim Higgins Joins Firm To Lead New South Jersey

2007 - Timothy J. Higgins has been named Of Counsel of Florio Perrucci
Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C., and will lead the firm's new office in
Woodbury, N.J.

new office with Tim Higgins," said Governor James J. Florio, senior partner and
one of the founders of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C. "Tim, a
life-long resident of South Jersey and a well-respected lawyer, brings a
tremendous amount of talent and enthusiasm to our firm.
Mr. Higgins,
who is joining the firm as Of Counsel, will work in the firm's new office at
108 Euclid Street in Woodbury. He will retain his municipal clients as he helps
expand the firm's client base in southern New Jersey. Mr. Higgins has extensive
experience in local government, land use, real estate, redevelopment,
environmental and personal injury law.
Most recently a solo
practitioner offering legal services as the Law Offices of Timothy J. Higgins,
he will continue his work serving local governments. He currently serves as the
Municipal Attorney for the Boroughs of Barrington, Brooklawn, Merchantville and
Oaklyn, and the Township of Haddon. Additionally, Mr. Higgins currently serves
as the Municipal Prosecutor for the Borough of Gibbsboro and the Township of
Pennsauken, including its Building Department.
From 1985 through 1990,
Mr. Higgins was an elected official in the Borough of Oaklyn, serving as
Council President, Director of Public Safety, Director of Planning and Zoning,
and as a member of the Oaklyn Planning Board.
Mr. Higgins received a
bachelor of arts degree from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and a
Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. He is admitted to practice
law in the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the
U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of
Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

James J. Florio who has extensive environmental and legislative experience and
Michael J. Perrucci who is one of the Mid-Atlantic region's leading litigators.
Douglas J. Steinhardt joined the firm as a named partner in August 2005, and
Paul T. Fader joined as a named partner in January 2006. The firm has practice
specialties in municipal, real estate and land use, labor and employment,
environmental, litigation defense, government and regulatory affairs,
construction and public contract, banking and commercial lending, and family
