John F.
Neary Brings 30 Years of Construction Experience to Firm's Rochelle Park

John F. Neary has joined Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C. at the
firm's Rochelle Park office, bringing with him more than 30 years of legal
experience in the construction field.
Mr. Neary has worked extensively
with clients concerning construction and surety law, construction disputes, bid
protests, construction litigation, commercial litigation and appellate matters.
In May 2005 and 2006, Mr. Neary was named one of the top attorneys in New
Jersey in construction/surety by New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine.
Prior to joining Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, Mr. Neary was most
recently a solo practitioner in Roseland, N.J., after having been a partner at
Connell Foley, also in Roseland. While at Connell Foley, Mr. Neary was
dedicated to construction-related matters including drafting contracts and
other documents; advising clients on disputes and claims, including those
against sureties; representing clients regarding potential claims, claims and
litigation; and representing clients with bid protests and bidding-related
issues on public works projects including litigated bid protests.
A
native of Essex County, Mr. Neary holds an undergraduate degree and a Juris
Doctor degree from Seton Hall University. While in law school, he was the Case
Notes Editor for the Seton Hall Law Review. Immediately following law school,
he was an associate with the firm of John B.M. Frohling, Esq., practicing in
the areas of commercial and securities litigation law.
Mr. Neary is a
member of the American, New Jersey and Essex County Bar Associations. He is
admitted to practice in the New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New
Jersey; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; U.S. Claims Court, and U.S.
Supreme Court.
Mr. Neary joins Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader's
Northern New Jersey office located at 218 Route 17 North, Rochelle Park, N.J.
Heading that office is Paul T. Fader, former Chief Counsel to Governors Codey
and McGreevy. Mr. Fader also heads the firm's Government and Regulatory
Affairs, and Construction and Public Contracting Groups.
Florio
Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C. was founded by Governor James J. Florio
who has extensive environmental and legislative experience and Michael J.
Perrucci who is one of the Mid-Atlantic region's leading litigators. Douglas J.
Steinhardt joined the firm as a named partner in August 2005, and Paul T. Fader
joined as a named partner in January 2006. The firm has practice specialties in
municipal issues, real estate, labor and employment, environmental, litigation
and insurance defense, government and regulatory affairs, construction and
public contracting, and family law.
