Phillipsburg, N.J., September 6, 2005 - Attorney Douglas J. Steinhardt of Belvidere, N.J., has joined the law firm of Florio & Perrucci as a partner. The law firm, now known as Florio Perrucci & Steinhardt, L.L.C., has offices in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

A graduate of Gettysburg College with a bachelor of arts degree in history, Mr. Steinhardt earned his Juris Doctorate at Widener University School of Law where he was associate editor of the Law Review. After graduation, he was a law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey for one year before joining his father, Joseph W. Steinhardt, an attorney and municipal judge in their law practice in Belvidere. The younger Steinhardt continues with his father and their practice. He also serves as mayor of Lopatcong, N.J., and as chairman of the Warren County Republican Committee.

Mr. Steinhardt is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
