In addition, we understand the roles, perspectives, interests and concerns of all participants in construction projects including the project owner, project designer, construction manager, lender, general contractor, sureties, subcontractors and suppliers.
Attorneys in the Construction and Public Contracting Group are familiar with New Jersey's Construction Lien Law (successor to New Jersey's Mechanics' Lien Law), Municipal Mechanics' Lien Law, Public Works Bond Act, Trust Fund Act, Contractual Liability Act, Pay-to-Play restrictions, Prevailing Wage Act, Project Labor Agreement Legislation, and New Jersey statutes and regulations pertaining to procurement by state and local agencies and the case law interpreting them.

Working seamlessly with the Construction and Public Contracting Group are the firm's Land Use and Environmental Groups to ensure proper zoning, site planning and environmental integrity. Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader has extensive experience in new "greenfield" construction for residential, commercial, educational and general-purpose construction, as well as renovation and "brownfield" projects presenting environmental challenges. We are well versed to fully understand the environmental issues of bringing new life to old buildings and work with its clients in developing a plan, acceptable to regulatory agencies, which will inexpensively, but effectively, address such issues. Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader's Environmental Group also works with issues such as wetlands disturbance and hazardous substance liability, which are often associated with land acquisition and construction activities.
